I've been offered a 'seasonal' contract at a lower price. What's the catch?

A seasonal (temporada) contract is meant for a temporary stay, such as work or study, and isn't covered by the same protections as a long-term let. It can't legally be used just to dodge the long-term rules. Check the stated reason and ask for advice if you plan to live there for good.
Cheap seasonal lets are sometimes a way round the rules. Think twice if you want security.
Also check if utilities are charged on top, as they often are for seasonal lets.
