We'd like to let our flat for part of the year. What do we need to do?

You need to register the property as a tourist home with the regional tourism register and display the number on adverts. Rules and local limits have tightened, and many communities can restrict it. Check the statutes of your building and get the licence before you advertise.

Also check taxes. Rental income is taxable, and non-residents have their own return.
