Are speed cameras and fines strict in Spain?

Just started driving here. Any rules I should know about, and are fines enforced?

Yes, there are fixed and mobile cameras and fines are enforced, including for foreign-registered cars. Mind the limits on dual carriageways and in towns, and don't use your phone. Many roads have fixed cameras signposted.

Fines usually have a discount if paid promptly. Check the notice carefully for the deadline.
